The squat is the best exercise anyone can do...

The squat is the best exercise anyone can do due to its functional carryover to everyday life. Everyday people squat from chairs, beds, cars and toilets.

This fantastic exercise is the perfect multi-joint exercise to strengthen the hips, thighs and back muscles. It is also a great calorie burner and raises the metabolic rate. When performed correctly the squat will improve postural strength, abdominal tone and help decrease lower back and neck pain. The squat is also a great assessment to see if there are any restrictions in the hip musculature.
